If you suffer from Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS), you know how unpleasant the symptoms can be. Trying to do something as simple as relaxing with a good book suddenly becomes a nightmare. The aching, throbbing, pulling, crawling, and creeping feelings in your legs create an irresistible urge to move them again and again…not very relaxing at all. And since these uncomfortable feelings may happen most often when you’re trying to go to sleep, enjoying a good night’s rest may seem impossible [1].

Disrupted sleep can lead to exhaustion, mood changes, struggles with maintaining concentration, and more.

So what can you do?

Unfortunately, there is no known cure for RLS, but applying certain essential oils topically on the areas of discomfort may help be calming. Use essential oils that have properties known to reduce discomfort associated with spasms, cramps, and muscle pulls, and essential oils commonly used to promote relaxation.

Oils that promote mental and physical relaxation are also great choices to help relax you, and those busy legs, before going to sleep.

Give our recommendations a try or try our Laid-Back Legs topical blend to help settle down those restless legs!

Check out this blog on Magnesium Body Pudding for a silky, smooth, and therapeutic blend that you can customize to help with discomfort, sleep, or relaxation!
